World Blood Donors Day celebration

Leh, Sept 17: National Health Mission (NHM) UT Ladakh under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, organised a mega blood donation drive ‘Raktdaan Amrit Mahotsav’ today at SNM Hospital Leh. A similar blood donation camp was held at national level as well.
Member of Parliament, Ladakh, Jamyang Tsering Namgyal was the chief guest on the occasion.
Deputy Chairman, LAHDC Leh, Tsering Angchuk; Councillor Thinles Nurboo; Mission Director, National Health Mission, Dr Iftikhar Chowdhary; Chief Medical Officer, Leh; Medical Superintendent, SNM Hospital Leh; other public representatives and Health Department staff, blood donors were present on the occasion.
